Sea Wave predictor

'Sea Cucumbers'

Last week when I went chinatown i saw this really wierd thing and i was really curious about it. apparently its called sea cucumber, and used for medicine. it is extremely expensive..one of them would cost $88 i think. or mayb 1 gram? Im guessing it would 'cure' some really nasty illness or some sort of miracle drug?? I am interested in this shamanistic or herbal/ritualism that this thing provoked in me.

ALCHEMY

Looks like this (dried) (all images taken on google):
(i think these things are farmed and sold alot illegally as you can tell from the image above..it looks like a typical set up as you would see on ebay of someone selling their clothes. and also more obviously below, taken really shoddily.

And below it is alive (various species). Theyre so repulsive, but i cant seem to look away..:

'Waiting for'.

The director was really nice, and the staff were v. friendly- really interesting space. it used to be a railway station thing..and the work addressed this..ideas around it being a 'non space' or space in between.
